Today, April 2nd, we held a joint induction ceremony for the group, welcoming 120 new employees.
The weather was fine, perfect for an induction ceremony.

Group joint induction ceremony
The annual induction ceremony begins with the "Spirited Venture Declaration."
It's quite impressive when new employees, company presidents, and executives all sing together!
In his congratulatory speech, CEO Kumagai spoke about the importance of the Spirit Venture Declaration and how this year will be the last "forgiveness period" of their lives.
I explained to them that absorbing various things during their first year will lead to their future growth.
This year's appointment ceremony was attended by members of our company, GMO TECH, selected from within the group. Mr. N, who will be assigned to the Affiliate Business Division, received his appointment letter from President Suzuki on behalf of the 120 new employees in the group.
N also worked hard on the rehearsal, and although he was probably nervous, he completed the presentation with confidence.

Here's what he had to say!
At the entrance ceremony, I represented the new employees in handing out their appointment letters, which made me feel more determined to work hard as a member of society.
The training was a tense experience as I was meeting members for the first time.
The words that particularly resonated with me were "having clear, high goals" and "a balance between charm and IQ." I strongly felt that I wanted to become a salesperson who always had goals, even for small things, and who was trusted by those around me and entrusted with work.
At lunchtime, we were relieved from the tense atmosphere of the induction ceremony and enjoyed a relaxed and pleasant lunch at GMOYours.
This year, each company member ate at a different seat, so they had lunch while talking about which company they would work for and what job they would do.

After lunch, the GMOTECH members gathered together and received individual letters of appointment from President Suzuki, who also gave each of them a message of encouragement to do their best in the upcoming group joint new graduate training.
The program also included a packed schedule, including a joint group orientation for new employees.
From the New Graduate Recruitment Department
The new graduates, who we met wearing suits for the first time in a while, came to work looking energetic and well-groomed as working adults!
It was impressive to see them nervous about receiving their first employee ID card and badge, but checking it with their colleagues as they put it on.
Although he was surprised by the number of his peers in the same group, he worked hard at the induction ceremony and group training, and his communication skills as he interacted with his peers in the same group were reassuring.
You will be undergoing a wide range of training from now on, but I hope you will approach each day with a purpose and use it to your advantage!!
