Owners develop their own apps
- Simultaneously strengthening business efficiency, profitability, and customer contact points -
GMO ReTech, Inc. (CEO: Akito Suzuki, hereinafter referred to as GMO ReTech), a member of the GMO Internet Group, has developed a proprietary app for owners of Chintai Corporation Co., Ltd. (CEO: Naoto Kuno, hereinafter referred to as Chintai Corporation), which boasts the largest number of managed units in Mie Prefecture (*1). The app is called the "Chintai Corporation Owner App."
The app is based on the "GMO Chintai DX Owner App" provided by GMO ReTech, with a unique design added, and will be rolled out to owners of approximately 26,000 rental properties managed by Chintai Corporation from Tuesday, February 10, 2026. This will improve the efficiency of management operations and make them paperless by sharing information with owners, responding to inquiries more efficiently, and digitizing income and expenditure reports.

[Background of introduction]
Chintai Corporation boasts the No. 1 track record for the number of properties under management in Mie Prefecture, and leverages its strength in a one-stop system to provide a comprehensive range of services, from management and brokerage to renovation of rental housing.
However, as the number of managed units increased, issues became apparent: it was becoming difficult to communicate with owners, share income and expenditure reports, and handle various applications and approvals using the traditional paper- and telephone-based workflow. These issues are not unique to Rent Corporation, but are shared by many real estate management companies. Creating ongoing contact with owners and strengthening information dissemination were also issues.
To solve these issues, Chintai Corporation decided to introduce this app as a means to improve operational efficiency, go paperless, and maintain continuous contact with owners.
[Features of the "Rental Corporation Owner App"]
■ Centralized response to inquiries using chat functions
The chat function within the app allows for centralized management of interactions with owners. By visualizing the history, smoother responses are possible, which is expected to improve owner satisfaction.
■ Workflow function improves efficiency of internal applications and information sharing
The workflow function streamlines the internal application and approval process, enabling rapid information sharing among nine branches.
■ Going paperless by digitizing income and expenditure reports and streamlining mailing operations
Owners can easily check the contents of income and expenditure reports on the app, improving convenience. Digitalizing documents also streamlines mailing operations. This reduces the burden and costs of mailing operations, which previously required eight people and a week to complete.
■ Advertisement distribution function creates contact points with owners and strengthens relationships
The in-app advertising function expands opportunities to communicate information to owners. By delivering information on campaigns and new services in a timely manner, relationships can be deepened and profitability improved.
