GMO Tryhatch Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Kento Osawa), a member of the GMO Internet Group, will launch MEO (Map Engine Optimization) on Monday, March 9, 2026.(※ 1)We have completely redesigned the management screens for our optimization tools, "MEO CHEKI byGMO" and "MEO CHEKI for Multiple Stores byGMO".
This renewal will affect 80,000 stores.(※ 2)Based on our extensive operational experience, we have continuously refined the system and incorporated the insights gained to revise the screen design and rebuild the development platform. This has resulted in improved usability in multi-store operations and faster functional improvements.
(*1) An abbreviation for "Map Engine Optimization," this refers to measures to improve the search ranking of a store page on Google Maps. This refers to measures taken to aim for a higher ranking in the search results on the Google search results screen and Google Maps when a keyword is searched on Google.

[Background of the Renewal]
In recent years, as customer visits initiated by Google Maps searches have become more widespread, the role required for managing and operating store information has become increasingly sophisticated. Amidst this, "MEO CHEKI byGMO" has expanded its adoption to over 80,000 stores since its launch in 2019, addressing diverse needs such as multi-store operations and data utilization. At the same time, expectations for further improvements in usability, including enhanced operability and stronger integration with other services, are also rising. To continuously and promptly respond to these needs, we have strengthened our development platform in anticipation of future functional expansions, and completely revamped the management screen.
[Key points of renewal]
1. Complete redesign of the user-friendly screen interface.
We completely redesigned the screen layout and user flow, creating a user-friendly interface that allows users to easily access necessary functions. We also simplified the names of some functions, making it possible for even first-time users to operate the system quickly and smoothly.
2. Improvement of existing functions
We have reviewed and improved the system, focusing on features such as the review response function and reporting function, based on user feedback, to make it more user-friendly.
3. Shortening the new feature release cycle through rebuilding the development infrastructure.
By revamping the system structure, we shortened the release cycle for bug fixes and new feature additions. We have established a system that allows for continuous improvement of future features.

[Future prospects]
Going forward, we plan to sequentially provide dashboard functions and customer review analysis functions to enhance data utilization. Furthermore, in collaboration with our group company, GMO TECH, Inc., we will develop functions to support large-scale multi-store operations.
