Technology About Fast500
Fast500 is a program run by the international accounting firm Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited to recognize rapidly growing companies in the TMT industry at a regional level in three regions of the world (Asia-Pacific, North America, and EMEA). The program has been held in North America since 1997, and in EMEA and Asia-Pacific since 2002, with Japan participating since the first year. The ranking is based on growth rate based on revenue (sales) for the most recent three fiscal years (the most recent four fiscal years for North America and EMEA).
About Japan Technology Fast50
Japan Technology Fast50 is the Japanese version of the ranking program of the international accounting firm Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited, which ranks companies in the TMT industry by growth rate based on revenue (sales) for the past four fiscal years. By using revenue growth rate as the indicator, the ranking shows growth potential regardless of company size, and applications are open to both listed and unlisted companies. The business areas covered are hardware, software, communications, media, life sciences, and cleantech.
In Japan, the domestic ranking program, Fast50, was launched in 2003, and companies that apply are automatically entered into the Asia-Pacific Technology Fast500. However, since the target period for sales revenue used as the ranking basis is different, the ranking order may differ slightly.
