News Release

Design One Japan Co., Ltd. (CEO: Yasuo Takabatake, TSE 1st Section: 6048), operator of Ekiten, Japan's largest all-genre word-of-mouth store search site, has been certified as an "IT Introduction Support Business" under the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's "Service Productivity Improvement IT Introduction Support Project (IT Introduction Subsidy)."

Ekiten was launched in June 2007 with the concept of "regional revitalization," and provides information to help users choose a store based on reviews and satisfaction ratings posted by users in a wide range of categories, including relaxation and body care, hair salons, clinics, and gourmet food. Currently, it has grown into one of Japan's largest store information databases, with a total of approximately 475 million listed stores and approximately 256 million posted reviews.

Ekiten offers a free store membership service that allows store owners to promote their stores free of charge, as well as the more appealing Ekiten Regular Membership Plan, an Upgrade Plan that increases the amount of information that can be provided, and optional services that are expected to increase traffic.

This certification will enable companies to receive IT implementation subsidies when implementing the special "Ekiten" plan offered by our company.

IT implementation support business

This is a Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry-led project that aims to improve the productivity of small and medium-sized enterprises and small businesses by providing subsidies for part of the expenses required for business operations that introduce software, services, etc. that contribute to improving productivity in small and medium-sized enterprises and small businesses.

What is IT introduction subsidy?

The IT introduction subsidy is a subsidy that supports part of the expenses incurred by small and medium-sized enterprises and small businesses when they introduce IT tools (software, services, etc.), thereby helping to improve business efficiency and increase sales.
If you introduce IT tools provided by an "IT introduction support business" certified by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, half of the total system introduction cost (up to a maximum of 500,000 yen) will be subsidized.
